This project was brought on by the homeowners need to expand the square footage of the living space to accommodate a new arrival to the family and the need for additional garage and storage space because the basement of the home was already finished taking away storage space.
It was also important that a design be incorporated that would appear to be part of the original architecture and not appear to be an addition. As you can see the design nicely blended into the original home and created some interesting opportunities on the second floor allowing access from the existing master bedroom out onto a private deck providing views into the front and rear yards for security, child and pet surveillance.

The interior benefit to this project was a large dining room and the expansion of a laundry/utility area were created in the original 2 car garage allowing the original dinning room to become part of the entrance foyer area providing a visual of open concept to compliment an adjacent 2 story high family room. A second front entrance was incorporated to accommodate deliveries and casual visitors to the home without having to use the formal main front entrance door. The addition of a 3 car garage with storage above, expanded driveway, new brick paver walkway and landscaping nicely completed this award winning project.
