This project consisted of designing a separate in law addition that would accommodate occasional long term visits by family and friends and not look as though it had been added as an afterthought. The addition is self sustaining in that it contains a kitchen, breakfast nook, large (2-story high) living room with stairs leading to a 2nd floor open loft area, first floor also contains a master suite with a full bath, laundry and access to an attached 2 car garage.

There is additional storage in the attic above the garage which also serves as the utility area for the HVAC system and has walk through access from the loft area for easy HVAC serviceability and storage. As you can see from the photos the project turned out spectacularly. This project took 12 weeks to complete from start to finish.
